eTwinning

eTwinning este comunitatea şcolilor din Europa.

eTwinning oferă personalului didactic (profesori, directori, bibliotecari etc.) ce activează în şcolile din ţările europene participante o platformă de comunicare, colaborare, demarare proiecte şi schimb de informaţii, pe scurt, un spaţiu în care să simtă că fac parte din cea mai palpitantă comunitate educaţională din Europa. eTwinning a devenit parte integrantă a Erasmus+, Programul UE pentru Educație, Formare, Tineret și Sport.

Până în prezent școala noastră a implementat peste 30 de proiecte eTwinning, profesorii școlii obținând certificate de calitate naționale și europene.

INTEGRATING STEM WITH CLIL YR3

Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) is a way of approaching foreign language instruction subtly through subject-oriented teaching. Rather than separating language study from other subjects, the theory behind CLIL is that complementary subjects taught at the same time result in improved internalization and retention. CLIL can increase the students’ motivation to learn what the teacher is teaching them. This can enable students to progress more quickly and solidly than they would with deliberately separated subjects. Plus it can help prevent early school leaving.
Our project’s major objectives are to develop teacher’s skills for modern and innovative teaching, to make students regard school as not as something compulsory but as an interesting place where they can develop their skills and creativity by introducing new tools and methodology in the classroom as means of teaching more effectively.

Innovating by Doing Experiments About Leonardo

Learning is only meaningful when pupils are doing something besides passively listening, that’s why our project strives to involve students in the learning process more directly through the methodology of tinkering and making which requires their active engagement. Through the tinkering-making methodology, we can activate not only STEAM skills, but we can also support students to recognize their talents in order to find their way in life. We draw our inspiration from the scientific method of Leonardo Da Vinci artist as well as scientist and inventor. Our aim is to foster the pupil’s opportunity to develop and to improve their capabilities.

OLD TRADITIONS, NEW TRADITIONS IN EUROPE

This project wants to reflect the beauty of the traditions in all the European countries. Besides that, since the existence of the European Union, all the countries in it become a family, new traditions are invented or borrowed from the neighbors.
In this project, we want to learn about the European countries and about their traditions by comparing our monthly manifestations with theirs.

STEM to STEAM YR2

The project is called „STEM TO STEAM”. Our project aims to work on the most effective ways to cope with under-achievement in STEAM subjects in classes, to promote acquisitions of skills and competences, to increase access to high-quality early childhood education and raise the quality of education. The activities and workshops planned in the project will help students with low achievements in their STEAM subjects, and by doing so, increasing their chances to succeed in their professional life. This project will have great importance for schools as it may serve as an example and encourage other teachers to develop similar projects.
We are sure that basing on the researches which is public and on our own diagnosis that developing STEAM skills from the youngest years will contribute to nullify failures on the higher levels of education and adult life.

KA229 – Cultural heritage

The aim of this educating endeavor is to facilitate cohesion and consensus in various fields starting from the knowledge of different cultures to ways of how to improve students’ achievements in education.
Our motivation to establish a project results from the teachers’ need to develop skills and to find innovative ways of building bridges between Poland and European countries. We would like to be open to the social problems of the modern world, as there is an obvious influence of the educational process of children onto their further job search as adults.

Rembrandts Movie Camera

In our last Erasmus + project we had student mobility to Italy where we visited a museum in Florence. During this visit, the group discovered the exposition named „Bil Viola”. The students started to play with their own Handy, creating works like Bil Viola. One student said this would be a good idea for the next Erasmus + project. And we as teachers said that’s a good idea. The experience from all partners is that sometimes it is difficult to motivate students to work with classic works of art, but it is very easy to motivate them to make a movie. Our project will be used as a method to combine both themes. Without exploring classic works, students will not be able to produce films. Our Project “ Rembrandts movie camera” involves art, theater and film production. These three fields are very loved by students and we intend to use them to improve students learning motivation and students’ ICT skills by using innovative teaching approaches. The participants will explore own artworks.

ACE (Acceptance, Citizenship and Equality)

The objectives of our projects are sharing European good practices, developing the feeling of belonging to the one European community, teach the students tolerance, non-discrimination and respect for human rights, overcoming all forms of discrimination, raising awareness about equality, increasing the sense of belonging to the society, promoting diversity and equality with the disadvantaged students, a better integration of students from disadvantaged groups to the school activities, sharing the good examples about equality and non-discrimination among partner countries, strengthening students’ and teachers’ ICT and digital skills, increasing the competences in foreign languages, discovering the culture of the partner countries.
Our partnership will promote the 2 priorities of the Paris Declaration: Fostering the education of disadvantaged children and Promoting intercultural dialogue.

The European Heritage Project

This is a multidisciplinary project that comprises foreign and native language competences, knowledge of history, literature and music, drama and art. We expect our students to develop these competencies along with the project. We also expect our teachers to collaborate online by sharing ideas, music arrangements and the staging of a play thus increasing their digital skills. We will blend CLIL methodology, flipped learning, collaborative web apps, and reciprocal learning in order to construct, share and arrange the music for our play. The methodologies will be learner-centered since each of the students will be selected according to their skills and tastes and will be able to develop them during the project.

Power of Friendship: anti-bullying program for schools

Erasmus+ KA2 approved a project titled “ Power of Friendship: an anti-bullying program for schools” intends to offer an anti-bullying program through the promotion of six specific values, easy to understand and integrate into school’s culture: respect, empathy, tolerance, kindness, unity in diversity, friendship. This program, grounded on common values, is based on the belief that schools need to change in order to decrease aggression and protect the emotional health of students and teachers in the long term. Also, bullying is directly recognized as affecting early school leaving in the Annex to the Council Recommendation on Early School Leaving (2011).
The project will involve students, teachers, parents from five primary schools from Romania, Turkey, Greece, Poland, Italy whose aims are to establish long term social cohesion and a positive environment and strengthen cooperation.

You + I = We, together for a sustainable world

The project “You + I = We, together for a sustainable world” is about understanding each other’s culture and raising awareness on students, on the way they behave and how they individually contribute to a more sustainable world.
Different ICT tools will be used in order to answer different objectives: communication (e-mail, chat, videoconference), collaboration (blog, wiki), information delivery (electronic presentations, videoclips) which will enable the students and teachers from the partner schools to work on a collaborative basis.

Innovation starts with action! STEAM

Individual competencies in STEAM subjects (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) are getting more important for the occupations of the future which are based on high technology. Therefore, innovative approaches are required in education. The curriculums not only in Turkey but also in other countries need to be revised because student motivation is not referred enough in STEAM subjects. Regarding this, the project has three main innovative approaches which enable students to be more participative in lessons:
1. To increase the readiness level of students in science and mathematics through art-in-museum activities.
2. To develop students’ competencies in technology and engineering with the use of lego robots in education.
3. To combine all these 3D designs, QR codes, experiment video quizzes and robot programming activities in STEAM subjects.
These approaches make easy to provide particularly primary school students with basic skills in STEAM subjects and to teach technology, engineering.

Our project is aimed to increase students’ motivation to read books, to get away from technology dependency, to contribute to socialization, to organize activities according to their physical development and to read through games.

Pre-school education, covering a significant portion of our lives, our training process is the first step. So that was the future of our children a quality education, and they should address in this process is the first step of training qualified.
